Nasci no RS, porém moro no RJ desde os anos 80. Venho de uma família de fotógrafos embora pouca influência tenha tido no estilo de fotografar de meu pai e meu avô.

Tudo começou como um hobby e a medida que fui fazendo cursos e aprendendo mais sobre fotografia fui aperfeiçoando a técnica e o olhar. Cheguei a fazer alguns trabalhos profissionais na área de arquitetura de interiores e advertising, mas meu maior prazer é caminhar por alguma cidade ou campo com a câmara pronta para captar algo interessante.

Comecei com filme P&B, dedicando boa parte do tempo a revelação e ampliação no laboratório. Com o advento do digital troquei o laboratório P&B pelo Photoshop. Hoje fotografo em RAW e passo todas minhas fotos pelo PS para cropping, ajuste de cor e sharpening.

Fotografo com uma Nikon D200 e uma D700 e lentes de varias distâncias focais embora ainda mantenha minhas câmaras de filme em médio formato.

Algumas podem parecer clichês, mas são fotos de viagem que não dá para não clicar, dando minha visão da mesma.

I was born in RS but I live in Rio de Janeiro since the 80’s. I come from a family of photographers but have had little influence from my father and grandfather in the style of shooting.

It started as a hobby and as I was taking courses and learning more about photography the way of looking and technic was improved. I already did some professional work in interior architecture and advertising, but my greatest pleasure is to walk through any city or country with the camera ready to capture something interesting.

I started with B&W film, devoting much of my time developing and enlarging in the darkroom. With the advent of digital I changed the B&W darkroom by Photoshop. Now I shoot in RAW and all my photos are passed by PS for cropping, color adjustment and sharpening.

I shoot usually with a Nikon D200 and a D700 and lenses of various focal lengths, although I still keep my medium format film cameras.

Some travel pictures may seem cliché, but it is my view of some typical land marks. It is almost impossible to travel and not click them.
